Ursula's Story

Joining you in the Mind Over Marathon group was one of the real highlights of 2018. I remember running my first 5km as part of the training program and couldn’t believe that I had run that far without stopping! Fast forward a few months and I was crossing the half marathon finish line. I never, ever would have done that without someone like you leading us, motivating us and encouraging us. I was a definitive ‘non-runner’ and had always assumed I could never run. The running program was ideal for me - it started off really slowly with small distances and built up over time so that at no point it felt unachievable.

I want to keep running, keep improving my fitness and keep learning about nutrition and exercise. 2018 was the healthiest, fittest year I’ve ever had - I cut down on drinking, cleaned up my eating, focused on getting enough sleep and prioritised fitness for the first time ever. And as a byproduct of that, my head is so much clearer and I feel more content and confident. I can’t thank you enough for being the person who helped me get there!
